Applying for membership

Please note:

  • Membership of UKCISA is open to colleges, universities, students' unions and other organisations based in the UK, and is NOT normally appropriate for those based OUTSIDE the UK.
  • If you don't know whether your organisation is already a member, check our list of current members.
  • If you are a student you CANNOT become a member. Please see our Student Information sheets or use the Advice line.
  • If you are an educational agent you cannot apply for membership. However, you may apply to be a subscriber to our services. You must complete section E of the application form, giving the contact details of two referees that are current members and are educational institutions.

To apply

The UKCISA membership fee covers a calendar year. There is no need to enclose payment with your application - the first year's membership fee is calculated by us on a pro-rata basis and you will be invoiced only from the time we receive your application until 31st December.

Please read carefully the undertaking on the application form with regard to the aims and objectives of UKCISA, which you are required to sign, and the Code of Practice for members and subscribers which is also enclosed.
