Highlights
We are delighted to announce that the conference will be opened by Mike Russell MSP, Cabinet Minister for Education and Lifelong Learning. This will be followed by our Annual Open Meeting (open to all), which will feature a leading panel of sector experts reflecting on current challenges for UKCISA member organisations, and their staff - and for UKCISA itself.
The Wednesday and Thursday will offer a choice of 70 breakout sessions, with Tier 4 advice and compliance once more figuring prominently, not least in our closing plenary, from Simon Hayes of the UK Border Agency International Group, on the topic of the new credibility interviews.
This year also sees a resurgence of interest in going beyond the demands of Tier 4, and focusing attention once again on the international student experience.
As ever, the UKCISA conference is the highlight of the year for anyone interested in networking and updating on all aspects of international student advice and support.
Join us for a particularly warm Scottish welcome, including our Opening Drinks Reception in Glasgow City Chambers, tours of central Glasgow landmarks and, of course, a ceilidh after our Conference Dinner.
