For information about studying at university level in another Commonwealth country.

ERASMUS

This scheme is administered in the UK by the British Council, and includes opportunities for study and work placements organised via your UK university. Students and staff at UK universities should contact the Erasmus Officer at their institution for further information.

Scotland goes global

This is a Scottish Government funded campaign to promote study abroad as part of a degree, with useful information including videos and country snapshots.

Promodoc

Promodoc provides information about doctoral study in the 27 member states of the European Union.

Studyportals.eu

Study Portals publishes a group of websites - BachelorsPortal.eu, MastersPortal.eu, PhDportal.eu and ScholarshipPortal.eu - which allow you to search for courses and funding available across Europe. You can search by language of instruction if, for example, you wish just to search for courses taught in English.

European Information Service for Young People (UK wide). Other relevant EU websites include:

UK National Academic Recognition and Information Centre (NARIC)

Provides advice on the equivalence of international qualifications to those in the UK.

UNESCO "Studying Abroad" website

Provides advice on recognition of qualifications, quality assurance and other information about mobility and other countries' education systems.
